We always knew that the people of Co. Clare were mad (in a nice way), but this bate all!!!!!!!
What an event, what a set up, what a night. Lads, of all the gigs we’ve played, I think this had to be one of the most memorable. The quiet little road-side pub called Murty Brownes’ in Co. Clare was transformed into a sea dancing, drinking, ‘leppin’ around like lunatics’ music lovers.
Declan (the owner and event organiser) really out did himself and put on a show that he should be really proud of. He hired the services Fergus (Events of Limerick) who provided more speakers than I’ve had hot dinners. This was the mother of all shows we’ve had to step up to and put on.
We were the 5th and finale act so a few swift pints of Chateaux de Clonmel had to be drank to settle down the nerves. We took to the stage and rallied up the crowd (so much so, we actually blew one of the generators and were left powerless for about 10mins hahaha)
Really enjoyed this gig, if you were there, we hope you did too. If you were not there, then you missed a great day and night. Make sure you get yourself there for next year, Declan has already booked us to play again.
