Well folks, its near the end of an era for us here in Gaelic Brew. 9 years ago, setting out under a 2 piece called ‘No Frontiers’ and a 3 & 4 piece band name called ‘Something Simple’, Damien and I began a musical journey together. We were rehearsing in an attic and gaining momentum on the gigging circuit.
We were joined 3 years later by Frank and changed the band’s name to Gaelic Brew. We’ve accomplished a fair bit in 9 years and we travelled many roads together in Ireland, England, Scotland, Germany and America. We’ve had thrills and spills, laughs and fights, fun and even more fun and have memories that will haunt me for life.
However, they say all good things must come to an end, so it is with profound sense of pride it is time we must say Thank You and farewell to Damien. Thank you for everything you have done for, and with, Gaelic Brew. We wish him the very very best of luck.
As the exit door on the left closes after a departure, the entrance door on the right opens. We would like to welcome Anthony Lehane on board with Gaelic Brew and hope that we will have continued success, fun and new memories.
Evin, Frank, Evin & Anthony.
