What a weekend for us. We were invited to play at the 2019 Ohio Celtic Fest. We took to the stage twice on Friday 20th Sept. and had a rapturous standing ovation at the end of the night. We met so many fantastic musicians at the after party. For 3 eejits from Co. Cork, we felt very humbled to be part of it.
Saturday 21st again we played twice, once at 1pm and again at 10pm. Saturday night was a very special night. After being asked to play on by the crowd, we finished the night with A Soldier’s Song and was a fantastic night.
Sunday 22nd saw us playing just the once and finish up the festival in our marquee. Again, what a very special feeling and very humbling experience. We couldn’t believe that the 3 days had gone by so fast and just like that, it was over. Sunday night’s session after party was a great night.
Ohio was very good to us as we played our very first Irish Fest in America. We made loads of new friends, both festival goers and talented talented musicians and will be sure to keep in contact with them all.
Until Ohio Celtic Fest 2020, stay well Mentor Ohio……unless we see you before that
